La Furbina è un affascinante casale dei primi del ‘900 immerso nella pittoresca campagna lucchese. Circondata dai profumi degli uliveti e dotata di una splendida vista panoramica, questa proprietà magnificamente ristrutturata unisce il fascino della tradizione toscana ai comfort moderni. Perfettamente situata per esplorare la Toscana, dista solo pochi minuti in auto dalla storica città di Lucca, rinomata per il suo patrimonio culturale e gastronomico. La villa offre allo stesso tempo privacy e facile accesso alle attrazioni locali, rendendola ideale per una vacanza rilassante ma anche ricca di scoperte.
La casa è stata recentemente rinnovata dagli attuali proprietari, che ne hanno preservato l’autentico stile toscano utilizzando materiali locali come travi, mezzane e pietra. Gli ospiti possono cenare all’aperto sotto le stelle nell’ampio portico affacciato sulla piscina privata e sui magnifici panorami della campagna, attrezzato con un tavolo fino a 8 persone. Il mancato rispetto delle regole di raccolta differenziata potrà comportare una penale fino a €200, che verrà trattenuta dal deposito cauzionale. Our family of 6 adults were delighted with our stay!! The hosts were easy to get in touch with, and helped us both before and during our stay. They had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. I wanted to have a personal chef cook dinner for us on our arrival day, and Elisa recommended someone who turned out to be terrific. It was nice to know that we did not have to think about our first meal, and we could settle in to our home for the week. The house was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped for our breakfasts, and we cooked dinner two nights, and had everything we needed. Wifi worked well. The property is very private, surrounded by olive groves. There is a rooster that lives next door, and he was up early every morning. We did not mind it. We met a few neighbors briefly, who were very friendly.
During our stay there was a big rainstorm, and power went out for part of the house. The hosts were very responsive and prompt, and did everything they could to get the power back up and running. We had a wonderful time at the villa. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Elisa and her team were always responsive with suggestions from restaurants to where to park when visiting the surrounding area.

We stayed here for a week in July. The villa is exactly as you see in the photographs. We were really pleased with how clean and modern the rooms were. The air conditioning in each of the bedrooms made such a difference. Elisa was extremely welcoming when we arrived at the villa, and gave us lots of tips on places to go and see. The villa is in a little hamlet and was nice and quiet. It is about a 10 minute drive from the nearest Conad supermarket which has pretty much everything you would need, and there is a bigger Esselunga about 20 minutes away on the edges of Lucca. We used the local pizzeria for a takeaway on the last night and that was good. I would definitely recommend this villa.

The location exceed our expectations. You can immerse yourself in Tuscany by walking from the villa to the local bakery every morning, visiting the local butcher, and visiting nearby pizzeria. Great spot for going to Lucca and getting the train to Florence and Pisa. Would suggest a hire car is needed, although there are local buses and you can walk to local amenities. Lovely views from the terrace over the valley and surrounding hills at the back provides stunning scenery.

My family and I wanted a secluded place that was very different than home in NYC. The house was beautiful, rustic and very clean. The landscaping and pool area were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and exploring both the local area and beyond.

Very enjoyable retreat. It is outside of any of the major cities, but a reasonable drive (20-30 minutes) to be in town. The location is in the country, but there are still good restaurants nearby. The pool was fantastic, especially given the temperatures were hotter than normal during our stay. It was great for our family of four.

La Furbina was an amazing place. The villa was spacious, everything was clean, and we really enjoyed sitting outside with a pool view! It was very quiet place, we absolutely appreciate Tuscany countryside. Elisa was perfect, she answered fast, gave us some recommendations for restaurants and what to do in Capannori. Beautiful traditional tuscan house in a very private, wonderful location. We were a little bummed to find that the pool wasn’t open, yet (we were there the last week of April, the pool opens on May 1st), but on second review this is mentioned in the description (we just didn’t read it thoroughly enough). Also, it was the first time for us that we had to pay extra for the electricity we used (€ 26.- for us for a week without heating or AC). Apart from that we are very thankful that we got to spend a wonderful week in always beautiful tuscany with all the highlights (Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the beach) reachable within an hour. So we can definitely recommend La Furbina and the host Elisa wholeheartedly!

We loved our stay at La Furbina. It’s 20 mins from the Lucca train station why oh we used every day for our trips throughout the region. It was clean, roomy for a family of four and a perfect place to feel at home away from home. Be sure to have your own rental car and don’t get too large of one as the streets are very narrow and difficult to navigate with longer vehicles. The food nearby was great and the checkout procedure was easy and straight forward. We would most certainly come back to this place. We came in October but it would be even more fun in the summer with the available pool.

Our family loved staying at La Furbina, it was a real highlight of our trip to Italy. We amended our itinerary so we could maximise days in the beautiful pool, which was kept really clean. The house was very comfortable, clean, and exactly like the pictures. We also really appreciated the provisions left for us to start our holiday. We loved walking into the old town for coffee and had pizza for dinner several times. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at the villa. From booking our time there, everything was communicated well, and the villa was easy to find. We loved the location, as it felt so peaceful and private yet was within walking distance to the local village and had many little walks and tracks nearby to explore. It was an excellent base for visiting the area, including Lucca, Lajatico, and San Gimignano. The villa itself was a great space for four of us, with all the amenties that we needed inside for a comfortable stay. The rooms were relaxing and we enjoyed the views from the villa, particularly watching the sunrise with a morning coffee on the terrace. The pool was very much enjoyed! Thanks so much - it made for a super visit to Tuscany! :-)

Zeer mooi huis met een geweldig zwembad. Redelijk rustig tussen de olijfbomen gelegen (wel naast en kippenhok met een iets te actieve haan) , veel privacy. Het huis is netjes, de airco’s werken zeer goed , de badkamers zijn ruim. De instructies voor afvalscheiding , bediening van apparaten etc was heel erg duidelijk . Klein minpuntje : de ligbedden bij het zwembad zijn aan vervanging toe en een van de bedden op de eerste verdieping kraakt best erg.

Je boekt dit huis voor de omgeving. Het huis is verder simpel, en de buitenruimte is zelfs zeer simpel. Wij miste in de avond een fijne plek om buiten te zitten.. binnen is enkel in de slaapkamers airconditioning waardoor je niet fijn kan koken of binnen kan verblijven in de warme periodes van het hoogseizoen. Het zwembad is heerlijk en groot, dit word ook zeer goed onderhouden dagelijks! Hiervan waren we erg onder de indruk! We hebben al met al een fijn verblijf gehad.
You book this house for the environment. The house is otherwise simple, and the outdoor space is even very simple. We missed a nice place to sit outside in the evening.. inside there is only air conditioning in the bedrooms so you can't cook nicely or stay indoors in the warm periods of the high season. The pool is wonderful and large, this is also very well maintained daily! We were very impressed with this! All in all, we had a nice stay.

Vi hadde en fantastisk uke i La Furbina. Bassenget er stort og eiendommen praktfull omgitt av flotte olivenlunder. Lokal slakter og baker var et stort pluss for oss som elsker å lage mat. Vi savnet noe bedre utstyrt kjøkken, men Elisa fulgte opp godt og tar tak i tilbakemeldinger. Vi vil absolutt anbefale stedet.
We had a wonderful week in La Furbina. The pool is large and the property magnificent surrounded by beautiful olive groves. Local butcher and baker was a big plus for us who love to cook. We missed a better equipped kitchen, but Elisa followed up well and takes feedback. We would definitely recommend the place.

This location is amazing. We loved being outside the busy cities and the people, food, and experience of the area was simply amazing. Elisa was frankly the best, super good at communication, answered all of our dumb tourist questions, and gave fantastic instructions WITH PICTURES (so helpful!). The house matches the pictures for sure, the pool was great to cool off in a hot July, and everything was represented correctly from the description. We felt like it was an excellent location to tour around Tuscany from Cinque Terre to San Gimignano everything was 60-90min away for an easy and scenic drive. Just a few items that could be better: -The linens could be improved, higher thread count and maybe better comforters -AC in each room was cold, but the rest of the house needed better air for the hot July days. -You do pay for electricity for you use. Again, overall the house and Elisa are amazing, I know she has other properties and we would stay with her again for sure!

A beautiful location. Villa is amongst an olive grove and walking distance to the local village. By having a rented car we were able to use the villa as our base to explore vineyards, local restaurants, Lucca and the coast. The alfresco dining and pool were just fabulous. We spent a lot of time enjoying these amenities. The alfresco dining was a lovely backdrop to our cooking class and dinner. Each of the bedrooms had views and were comfortably appointed with air conditioning. Bathrooms were large. Lovely to have the bbq that we used a couple of times. We have always wanted to share an experience like this with our family and how lovely it was to live the dream.

Sehr saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft mit allem, was man so braucht. Elisa und die Besitzer des Hauses sind sehr zuvorkommend, proaktiv und freundlich. Bäcker, Metzger und Pizzeria sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir sind zu sechst mit vier Erwachsenen und zwei Kleinkindern angereist. Ein zusätzliches Plus bieten der Pool (auch wenn wir diesen aus saisonalen Gründen nicht nutzen konnten), Grill im Garten und der Keller mit einer großen Auswahl an Spielsachen für die Kinder. Wir haben insbesondere die Morgen und Abende auf der Terrasse und im Garten sehr genossen, auch wenn es in der Aprilwoche größtenteils sehr kalt war. Auch in der Unterkunft war es aufgrund des Wetters leider sehr kalt. Cappanori ist die perfekte Anlaufstelle für Reisen nach Lucca, Pisa und Florenz. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft für Familien empfehlenswert, im Garten sollte man aber mit kleinen Kindern besonders achtsam sein wegen des Pools und der Treppen um das Haus herum.
Very clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Elisa and the owners of the house are very accommodating, proactive and friendly. Bakery, butcher and pizzeria are within walking distance. There were six of us, four adults and two small children. An additional plus is the pool (even though we couldn't use it for seasonal reasons), grill in the garden and the cellar with a large selection of toys for the children. We particularly enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the terrace and in the garden, even though it was very cold most of the week in April. Unfortunately, the accommodation was also very cold due to the weather. Cappanori is the perfect place to stay for trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. All in all, the accommodation is recommended for families, but you should be particularly careful in the garden with small children because of the pool and the stairs around the house.

Outstanding property, beautiful surroundings, pool and house - loved every minute of our stay. Elisa was very proactive with communication and was available for any questions. Pool and house exceeded expectations and pictures do not capture how tranquil and relaxing the property and surrounding area is. The locals were very friendly too - would highly recommend a stay here

La maison « La Furbina » est magnifique, propre et grande. Superbe vue sur les montagnes et les villages de Toscane. Belle piscine avec terrasse extérieure. Nous avions tout pour être confortable. Il y a un très bon Wifi intérieur et extérieur. Elisa était très gentille et accueillante. Cet endroit est un coup de cœur pour notre famille.

We absolutely loved this villa. It exceeded our expectations. Great area, family restaurants nearby and only 20 mins drive to the pretty town of Lucca. Elisa was great. She gave us lots of tips on where to go and how to the best of our holiday. Overall, this was a superb holiday experience.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Das Haus war traumhaft schön und hatte alles, was man so braucht. Sogar ein paar Geschirrspültabs und Waschpulver waren vorhanden. Es war sehr sauber und wie auf den Bildern. Der Pool und die Terrasse waren unser Highlight! Der Kontakt mit Elisa war unkompliziertund sie antwortete immer rasch. Außerdem hatte sie viele Tipps bezüglich Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Weinverkostungen. Wir können die Villa nur empfehlen!

Vi har haft en mycket trevlig vistelse hos Elisa. Informationen var toppen om huset och saker att göra inne i Lucca. Vi fick bra tips på mataffärer och hjälp med att hitta bra ställen att äta på. Huset var rent och fint bra utrustat kök och poolen super trevlig. Rekommenderar varmt.

Wij hebben als complete gezin, 6 volwassenen personen, een geweldige week in La Furbina gehad. Het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen; een fantastisch zwembad, heerlijke pizza's bij Shalomi en geweldig lekker gegeten bij La Giardinetto. Het huis voelde als thuis en zelfs met een mindere dag kon je op het overdekte terras zitten. De slaap- en badkamers zijn vrij ruim. Als tip zouden een paar haken in de kleinste badkamer om de handdoeken op te hangen wel handig zijn. Ook een extra paar hand-/ theedoeken in de keuken zijn welkom. Als gevolg van stevig onweer was er 's nachts kortsluiting doordat het koffiezetapparaat kapot ging. Er werd de volgende dag adequaat en snel gereageerd door Elisa. Zij gaf ook veel informatie over de omgeving. De communicatie verliep snel, soepel en uiterst vriendelijk. Kortom: alle lof en absoluut een aanrader en een reden om terug te komen.

Our 3 week stay in La Furbina was absolutely perfect. As a family of 6 we had been looking forward to our visit and it was everything we hoped for and more. The property is beautiful and really well maintained. The views from every window are like a painting, with the house being surrounded by olive groves. Elisa and the service she provided throughout our time was flawless. Lovely combination of kindness and professionalism. The interior of the house is so tasteful, with the exposed brick looking like a piece of art. AC in all three bedrooms was really appreciated too.

Het is een heerlijk huis met drie ruime slaapkamers en drie badkamers. De tuin met het zwembad is prachtig! De bakker is op loopafstand en er is in ieder geval een leuk en goed restaurant op loopafstand van het huis. Toscane is prachtig en het plaatsje Lucca (ongeveer 20 minuten rijden) is een erg leuk met gezellige straatjes en goede restaurants! De host Elisa is erg enhousiast en geeft leuke tips over wat te doen in de omgeving. Een aanrader!

Wir haben mit der Familie zu sechst + 1 Baby eine Woche in der schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage ist ein Traum: inmitten von Olivenhainen und einem tollen Blick. Auch das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Die Küche ist geräumig, sodass man hier auch super mal selbst kochen kann. Die Pool Area ist ebenfalls ein Traum, auch wenn wir sie durch das schlechte Wetter nur bedingt nutzen konnten. Elisa war eine tolle Gastgeberin, sie stand jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung und hat uns beispielsweise auch mit Restaurant Reservierungen geholfen. Absolut empfehlenswert, vielen Dank!

We enjoyed the house very much. The kids loved the suprise in the cellar! Restaurants and bakery were super close to the house, so we didn`t need to take the car and could enjoy the house and relaxe mostly on the pool. Thank you! I can highly recommend Tuscan Houses! We had a fabulous week at La Furbina. It is even more beautiful in person. The highlight for us was the pool and outside dining area. The villa itself is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. The area of Capannori is peaceful and quintessential Tuscany. You will find a pizza place, butcher, farmacia within walking distance, recommend renting a car as public transportation is limited. Communication from start to finish was easy. Thank you for a wonderful week.

We had a wonderfull stay for 2 weeks in july 2022. All was perfect, everything one wants or needs was available . A splendid large pool, water play material is there! Basement acceses to a cool relax play area with large screen television . But above all this perfectness with well working airco in the 3 bedrooms ( with three large bathrooms!) , bedlinen and towell change each week, pool maintainance weekly, THERE WAS ELISA AND HER TEAM. Available for any problem that might occur, question one might not have, info one might need. Using a whatsapp communication with the team is making life easy. I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for an answer ( i think EliIsa never sleeps!) . This place and this organisation is top quality, i cannot say it enoigh to express out utter and complete satisfaction. We will become regular customers!! We had a super perfect fantastic holiday in a fantastic and well equiped house with absolute stars servicing us!

We had a wonderful stay in La Furbina. We were six adults and stayed one week. The house is in a very good condition, it’s clean and well equipped. We had breakfast outside every morning, unfortunately the pool was still covered and not usable in the end of April. The communication with Tuscan Houses was super easy, we got answers immediately when we had questions or needed some advice.

Das Haus ist wirklich super und hat alles, was man für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt benötigt. Es ist super ausgestattet und hat jede Menge Platz. Der Pool ist toll und genial gelegen: nicht direkt an der Terrasse, aber auch nicht so weit weg vom Haus. Die Größe ist sehr komfortabel. Besonders positiv ist uns die Sauberkeit des Hauses aufgefallen. Tuscan Houses macht hier einen super Job. Auch war ausreichend Toilettenpapier, Küchenrolle etc. vorhanden - das hatten wir noch nicht bei vielen Ferienobjekten. Die Lage an sich ist auch sehr gut: man ist relativ schnell in Lucca, Pisa und Florenz. Und der Blick über die Olivenbäume ins Land ist mega entspannend. Von uns also eine klare Empfehlung!
