Villa Steffy is a private house, beautifully renovated old farmhouse located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, set on the scenic Lucca hills. Positioned close to Ponte a Moriano and Lucca, Villa Steffy boasts spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding hills and valleys. The villa is ideally located along the route to Bagni di Lucca, renowned for its rejuvenating spas, and near the celebrated Devil's Bridge - Ponte del Diavolo, a unique landmark steeped in music and history. Villa Steffy is more than just a place to stay—it is a gateway to experiencing the authentic Tuscan way of life. Outdoor
The grounds of Villa Steffy extend over approximately one hectare, partly flat and fully fenced. The park features olive groves and typical local plants, including ornamental shrubs such as oleanders and various fruit trees. Guests can dine outdoors on the east side, just in front of the dining area. There is also a barbecue and a relaxing area with chairs and a table located in front of the main entrance of the house.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool, open from the first Saturday of May to the last Saturday of September, has a rectangular shape measuring 6×12 m. It is chlorine-treated and located about 20 metres from the house. The area surrounding the pool is equipped.

Terms & Conditions
Included services:
Rental prices include one initial set of bed linen and towels, initial cleaning, gas for cooking and hot water.
Utilities & Extra Charges:
Heating is not included in the rental price and charged depending on usage.
Tourist tax, if applicable, is not included in the rental rate and must be paid on the spot in accordance with local regulations.
Security deposit, waste disposal & final inspection:
Upon departure, an inspection of the property will be carried out to verify that no items are missing and that there is no abnormal wear and tear on the property (e.g. broken windows, damaged furniture, burned linen). Guests are required to dispose of waste correctly, in accordance with the recycling instructions provided upon arrival. Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to €200, which will be deducted from the security deposit. Depending on the outcome of the inspection, the security deposit will be refunded.
For safety reasons, the use of the wood-fired oven and barbecue, where present, must be requested upon arrival and may be subject to restrictions in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Steffy. Nello war sehr freundlich und hat alles gut erklärt. Alles was man braucht ist im Haus vorhanden. Einziger Nachteil; Im Moment ist die Brücke zum Städtchen gesperrt, daher nicht zu Fuss erreichbar.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso a Villa Steffy. Nello è stato molto gentile e ha spiegato tutto bene. Tutto il necessario è disponibile in casa. Unico inconveniente; al momento il ponte per la città è chiuso, quindi non è raggiungibile a piedi.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Steffy. It is beautifully situated in the Lucca hills with a lot of privacy, but close to all amenities and only a 10 minute drive to the center of Lucca. The villa is seccluded with a wonderful (and large!) pool and a spacious area around it (a huge garden for kids to play), a place to enjoy all day!
The villa itself is clean and has all it needs and more - we enjoyed the beautiful paintings in the rooms (our son loved the "lion king room"!) and the many things for kids to play.
Nello and his wife are fantastic hosts and super responsive and helpful - things couldn't have been better!Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

Wir können das Haus, die Agentur und die Besitzer des Hauses wärmstens empfehlen! Unser eigentliches Haus wurde 1 Tag vor Ankunft storniert und Elisa hat es uns so spontan möglich gemacht, in dieses wunderbare Haus auszuweichen. Das Haus selber ist sehr geräumig, genau so wie das Grundstück mit dem riesigen Pool. Es gibt auch genug schattige Plätze für die warmen Stunden des Tages. Das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt und mit einem elektrischen Tor ausgestattet. Es gibt viele schöne Restaurants, Supermärkte und alles was man braucht in der Nähe. Auch die Nähe nach Lucca (12min. mit dem Auto) war wirklich super. Dabei hat man in dem Haus bzw. der Umgebung trotzdem absolute Privatsphäre.

This place is amazing! Situated on a hill side with amazing views. The garden is big (!), we had two dogs with us and they had plenty of space to run around. The pool is big ( about 13 m). The house is three flours and there is plenty of space. The house owner lives close and provides excellent service. I definitely like to recommend this property and would like to rent it again

This villa was everything we could have wished for on our family holiday in Tuscany. The villa, grounds and views are beautiful with everything you need from kitchen gadgets, bbq, children’s toys and pool toys. The town of Ponte a Moriano is a 10 min walk down a (steep but quiet) hill and has lovely delis, butchers, pizzeria and ice cream parlour. Bus access to beautiful Lucca and further afield was very easy. We were well looked after by Eliza and the villa owner Nello who was so helpful in guiding us with local amenities. We would recommend this villa to everyone. Thank you Eliza and Nello, we had a wonderful holiday at Villa Steffy.

Our time at Villa Steffy was perfect for our family (4 adults and 4 kids). The grounds and the pool are amazing; lots of time outside, which was ideal for the kids. Dinners outside on the porch nightly made it easy for us, and evening walks to get gelato in Moreno (and a cocktail) super fun for all. What we loved: 1) the local grocery, Esselunga, delivered a grocery order we made online which was incredible as we didn't rent a car! 2) download app Taxi; we used this to get a taxi to and from Lucca (about $30) and it was easy (also book the night before if you need an early ride to the train station; we did not, and the owner of the villa drove us! so kind). 3) the days roaming the town of Lucca were magical; it is a wonderful city to bike and walk. 4) the house had plenty of fans, so we did not feel hot. 5) the views are stunning. The house had everything we required, and while the kitchen is small, it is totally functional for cooking in (and barbecue and frig by the pool). This was a great week to chill and start our 3.5 week adventure!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Villa Steffy! Das Haus liegt traumhaft auf einem Berghang und das Anwesen bietet auch für eine größere Reisegruppe mehr als genug Freiraum. Der große und sehr gepflegte Pool ist ein besonderes Highlight der Villa. Der Besitzer war überaus Hilfsbereit und bei Fragen sofort über Telefon oder WhatsApp zu erreicht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt in diesem wirklich wunderschönen Anwesen! das Haus ist wunderschön, sehr sauber und die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war wirklich toll! die Poolanlage ist wahnsinnig toll. besonders mit Kindern kann ich dieses Haus bedingungslos empfehlen, es ist alles was man benötigt vor Ort! die Lage ist ebenfalls toll! Grandioser Ausblick und in alle richtungen tolle Städte zu erreichen!

Vielen Dank für die fantastische Zeit in der Villa Steffy! Haus, Garten und natürlich auch der Pool sind riesig und insbesondere für Kinder ein echtes Paradies. Ein besonderes Lob mit Sternchen verdient der Gastgeber vor Ort "Nello", der die besten Restaurant Tipps hat und immer ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr gut erreichbar ist.

Villa Steffy - We had an absolutely fabulous week at Villa Steffy. The kids were excited for the pool and boy it did not disappoint. Thank you Nello and family - we had a blast! Some lovely pizza restaurants just down the hill. Big grocery story 5 mins away. Lucca a short 15min drive. We will be back!

Villa Steffy was the perfect place for our Family reunion/vacation. The grounds were beautiful, the views magnificent. Our whole family enjoyed the house, the pool and the outdoor spaces. The house has everything you need including everything a baby or toddler would need.The house is about 18 minutes from Lucca. There is a wonderful Esselunga super market about 5 minutes away that has everything you might need. We had most of our meals in the house. The Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The WiFi could have been more reliable. The house has many steps, so elderly persons with ambulation issues might have a problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Villa Steffy - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa Steffy, probably the best holiday villa we have rented. Such a lovely garden with so many different outdoor seating areas. The pool is large. Fabulous views from all around the house and garden and just 10 minutes drive into Lucca. We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in this lovely place and will definitely return if we can get all the children to holiday with us again.
