Casa Di Dante was a farmer house which has been renovated in 2015 and is set on the hills of Pisa Just a few steps away from the small and historic village of Vicopisano. Thanks to its location, guests can relax in the garden or under the pergola and enjoy the typical Tuscan landscape. The interior of the house has been renovated with taste and in harmony by the owners who wanted to respect the local tradition and use ceilings with wooden beams and rafters. Facing the pool, there is a porch where you can have dinners, while you can enjoy the sunsets over the hills and the valley. Casa di Dante is the ideal place for a perfect holiday in Tuscany, in one of the most beautiful regions, near the sea and the most beautiful and important cities such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Volterra and San Gimignano.

The fenced pool is located in the garden in front of the house, and to reach it, it is necessary to step down 6 steps. The pool has a rectangular shape and measures 6 x 12 m with a fixed depth of 1.40 m, linen with blue PVC and with chlorine depuration. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a shower with hot water. The porch adjoining the house is equipped with tables, chairs and armchairs, allowing guests to enjoy the tranquillity of this magical place.

Included services:
The rental price includes one initial set of bed linen and towels, initial cleaning, gas for cooking, hot water, electricity and heating.
Utilities & Charges:
All utilities are included in the rental price.
Tourist tax, if applicable, is not included in the rental rate and must be paid on the spot in accordance with local regulations.
Security deposit, waste disposal & final inspection:
Upon departure, a final inspection of the property will be carried out to verify that no items are missing and that no abnormal wear and tear has occurred (e.g. broken windows, damaged furniture, burned linen). Guests are required to dispose of waste correctly in accordance with the recycling instructions provided upon arrival. Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to €200, which will be deducted from the security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded subject to the outcome of the inspection.
For safety reasons, the use of the wood-fired oven and barbecue, where present, must be requested upon arrival and may be subject to restrictions in accordance with local environmental regulations.

We had a great time at Casa di Dante. Mario was very helpful when he greeted us and provided lots of great local recommendations. Lovely welcome gifts left by Anna (the owner) and a beautiful place to stay for the week. Perfect to visit Pisa, Lucca, Florence and the beach and Vicopisano has lots of great restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Would visit again.

The villa worked very well for us ( grandparents, kids and grandkids) during very hot weather in Tuscany. The pool was large with a wonderful view and we ate outside under the covered porch every night. There is easy access to Pisa, the beach and Lucca. The rooms and the bathrooms were very nice. The only thing that might be difficult for some people is that the fourth bedroom is only private if you lock the doors providing access between the kitchen and the living room ( you can still get to the living room but you then have to go outside or upstairs and down the other stairs).We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this villa for 2 weeks and we really LOVED it. When you arrive, the driveway is really stunning, and you are in the good mood already. But also the house itself is comfortable and well maintained and equipped. The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen very complete. We only didn't use the living room, we stayed most outside. (comfortable lounge set available) The pool is very nice and having a good size. The pergola is also very, very nice. We stayed here in August and it was warm and the water of the pool was very nice. The views from the house and pool area are very nice as well.
Vicopisano is not far and having a few restaurants and a small bakery. Only the second week the bakery was closed and we went to Calcineia. (you also have supermarkets here). On the last day, we found out that Bientina is a better choice. There are more shops, just 5 minutes drive and a very good supermarket (COOP.FI) available. So, recommended for next guests. :)
We had a small issue and the response of Tuscanhouses and the owner was very fast and the maintenance guy was there within 30 minutes.
We have seen a lot of places during our holiday (Pisa, Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, etc, etc)

Second year in a row at this excellent villa and everything was as good as we remembered and expected. Very well equipped, great facilities, great pool and a stunning setting. Both the Tuscan Houses staff and the local owners were extremely helpful and welcoming - including baking a beautiful cake for us!
Only minor criticism is the lack of soundproofing between two of the adjoining bedrooms on the first floor. Otherwise excellent.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

Everything about this villa and our stay was 5 star. The photos did not actually do it justice, as the location and outlook were in reality even more attractive. Elisa from Tuscan Homes was extremely helpful in providing local information on services and restaurants, and was able to connect us with an outstanding private chef. Margherita was very welcoming upon arrival and the housekeeper Eliza was very efficient. The villa was very well equipped, and each bedroom has an en suite shower room. It was about a 20 minute walk down to the local town of Vicopisano where you will find 4 good restaurants and 2 good patisseries. There is a basic grocery shop but you will need to go to one of the supermarkets for a major stock up (nearest is about an 8-10 minute drive from the villa). I would highly recommend Casa di Dante, and we will be returning!

The villa is in a beautiful and quiet setting looking out across the plains in one direction and into the wooded hills in the other. The villa is very pretty and very well equipped. Es ist viel schöner, als die Bilder vermuten lassen- das Haus/die Anlage sind sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet (Handtücher, Kochutensilien,...). Die Lage ist optimal für Ausflüge/Unternehmungen in Vicopisano, Pisa, Florenz, Lucca und vieles mehr. Der Auslick vom Pool ist wunderschön und zum Abschalten geeignet. Die Hausbesitzerin Hannah und Ihre Familie waren zauberhaft, obwohl sie kein Englisch spricht, konnten wir uns sehr herzlich verständigen. Angenehm erfreut waren wir über das vorhandensein erster Lebensmittel (Obst, Wasser, Milch, Nudeln, ...) bei unserer Ankunft und wöchentlich frische Eier der eigenen Hühner. Ankommen und Wohlfühlen. Die komplette Abwicklung von Buchung, Kontakt über Whatsapp und Check-in/Check-Out über Elisa und Ihre Kollegin Carolina war sehr professionell. Casa di Dante - We stayed 2 weeks in this villa. It is very well located and beautiful villa. We had a very nice time and the service was absolutely fabulous!! When we had a question we contacted the owners with what’s app and within no time we had a answer. Very very nice and kind people! We can absolutely recommend this villa. Nearby we had a few nice supermarkets and anything we needed. The 3 restaurants in Vicopisano were absolutely great and have very very delicious menus.

Casa di Dante - The property was spotlessly clean, charming and in a fabulous setting. Bedrooms were spacious, light and with air conditioning. Bathrooms were great with efficient showers and well equipped. As this is a traditional style Tuscan house, the downstairs was a little dark and with no air conditioning or additional fans, although we used the wonderful outdoor space as our living area. The kitchen is small but well equipped and functional and again, very clean. The pool is fabulous with views extending over the countryside. All in all a great place for the family with everything you could want, supermarkets are a short drive away and Vicopisano has restaurants and bars and is less than 10 minutes drive from the house. We loved it!

Casa di Dante is a lovely, spacious house with far-reaching views over the Tuscan countryside. It is an easy 25-minute drive from Pisa airport and a 20-minute downhill walk from the charming village of Vicopisano which has a rich architectural history and a cluster of small shops to cater for basic needs such as a supermarket, a chemist and a café bar. We were a family of six adults plus a one-year-old and the owners, who live next door, couldn't have been more helpful from our arrival to our departure. Provisions for our grandson were excellent and included a high chair, a travel cot and numerous toys to play with around the pool area. The house was very well-equipped and clean, with plenty of storage space in each bedroom and bathroom. The pretty garden area was perfect for outdoor dining, and the swing seat near the barbecue proved to be a lovely spot for relaxing and enjoying the views. We were impressed with the size of the pool and there were plenty of loungers, tables and parasols. During our stay we visited Florence by train, a 45-minute journey from the local station at Pontedera, the town of San Gimigiano, a 90-minute drive through beautiful countryside and certainly worth seeing and also the impressive walled city of Lucca just a 30-minute drive from Casa di Dante. Some guests may wish to note that there are many steps both inside and outside the villa, but for us the location was just perfect and the owners and their family made us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily return to Casa di Dante.
