This splendid farmhouse called AltaVista was in the origin a little “metato” used by the local farmers as storage and then as stable. The house has been renovated and enlarged from the actual owners who created a splendid house with a breath-taking view on the Lucca area and the Valdinievole. The house is built in stone from the outdoors, and inside reflects the typical Tuscan house with the floors are made of terra “cotto”, the ceilings of small beams and tiles in “terra cotto” and the staircase in stone. Casa AltaVista measures about 250 square meters and internally is set up of three apartments of which two joinable. Internally the furniture brings back to the antique flavors but the house is itself very comfortable in order to have a relaxing and private holiday. AltaVista is set on one of the most famous hills of the Lucca area (380 m asl), both for the quality of the air as for view. The swimming pool is set on a panoramic terrace from which you can enjoy an unforgettable view.

Interiors
The house is arranged over two floors.

Ground Floor
The ground floor opens onto a living area with a small corner kitchen and sofas, one of which can be used as a sofa bed. This level also features three double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower and direct access to the garden through French doors. Additionally, there is a main living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and direct access to the outdoor dining space, which can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.

First Floor
The first floor hosts two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms with shower. Also on this level, but accessible only from the outside, is an additional apartment featuring a small corner kitchen with a single sofa bed, a double bedroom with a small terrace, and a compact bathroom with shower.

Outdoor

The garden of AltaVista covers a surface of 3000 square metres, most of them as lawn enriched by flowers and ornamental plants. Three are the external dining areas but the main is covered by the American vineyards and connected with the main kitchen on the ground floor. It is possible to use the barbecue and the wood oven. The impressive view that people can enjoy from the garden are infinitive.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool, has a rectangular shape and measures 11 x 4.5 metres with a variable depth from 1.20 to 2.40 metres. It has chlorine depuration and linen by a PVC light blue line. The entrance in the pool is through two internal staircases. The pool distances about 20 metres and accessible through a staircase of about 21 steps. The solarium area is paved and has type of plants and flowers and is equipped with sunbeds, sun lounges and umbrella. There is also a solar shower.
